Hey Matt! We went to the Tea Party on Wednesday and saw her speak. you're right, she was very good. Today at church, Dad called me over before the service started and said "Look at the girl behind you in the black dress. Isn't she the girl who spoke at the Tea Party?" So I went over and introduced myself and whaddayaknow, it was! So we got to talk quite a bit. She's homeschooled too, which was also interesting.
Just thought you might be interested. :) ~Kiwi~ p.s. how do you get a video off Youtube and into your blogpost? I tried to but couldn't figure it out.
That's really, really cool Kiwi, and a really big coincidence that I just happened to get the link to the video in a email from a national organization, and you were not only at the event, but you also know the girl in person! Who would have thought! :)
I just copied the code to embed it and pasted it in while I was in the HTML tab. Then, I think I switched back to normal mode and wrote in the rest. If that doesn't work though, write the post, then paste the video in with the HTML tab. And of course if it doesn't work you have my email address. ;)
I don't know her very well yet, but hopefully we'll get to know her family better. We exchanged email addresses, but I haven't had a chance to email her yet. I gotta go do that.
